In order to limit the number of accidents and because it's only there that IGC had to work, it's under streets and publics buildings that have been created the inspection corridors.
As you can see it on the right picture, the name of the street is indicated in most corridors.
Besides, where consolidation works were done by the IGC, one can read an inscription like this one :
2.J.1850
This means that you can see the place where the General Inspector of the Quarries "J" (the first letter of his name of course) directed the his second consolidation work, in 1850.
